This page sets out the terms and conditions under which you may use this site. By using this site you expressly agree to be bound by its terms and the Australian laws that govern it. If you make a purchase on this site, our terms of sale apply.

 

We may vary the terms of use at any time. Any variations will be effective the day they are posted on the site. The CPDpoint Pty Ltd terms of use are current as at 1 January 2008 .

This site displays information about CPDpoint Pty Ltd, professional development events and forums, classified advertisements, and banner advertisements that promote a variety of products and services. Their purpose is to link sellers and buyers.

 

The advertisements displayed at this site are supplied to us by a third-party seller of a product or service. We accept advertised content in good faith with a warranty by each advertiser that the content does not violate any law. We do not examine, review or endorse the products or services of any advertisement provided on this site. We recommend that you confirm all information contained on or linked from the site with the relevant third party provider before purchasing a product or service.

SSL is the industry standard and it is compatible with most browsers. You know SSL has been enabled when your URL (the internet address for the page you are viewing) changes from http:// to https://. A locked padlock icon should also appear on your screen (bottom of right of your screen for Internet Explorer 6 or on the same line as the URL for Internet Explorer 7).

 

Maintaining your computer will also improve security online. You can increase your Internet security settings, and/or install up-to-date anti-virus, firewall and anti Spam software with the latest patches.

Our site is linked to other websites on the Internet. Third parties who advertise on this site provide these links and the link is provided for your convenience. If you placed a paid advertisement on this site, our terms of use and dealings with you are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any provision in our terms of use is void or unenforceable, it/they will be struck out, and the remaining terms will remain in force.

 

If you paid a person or business who advertised at CPDpoint, you and the advertiser are required to identify the jurisdiction that governs the transaction you have entered. It is good practice to establish which jurisdiction applies before you enter into a contract with a person or business in another state or country. 

 

  

14. Feedback, complaints or questions

We welcome your feedback, complaints and questions by e-mail (using the link at the bottom of the page). The subject line should identify whether your message is “Feedback”, a “Question”, or a “Complaint”. We will prioritise messages according to their complexity and aim to send you a prompt reply or phone you to discuss the matter further.

 

Complaints will be handled with objectivity, respect and fairness with regard to the circumstances. We will aim to resolve a complaint within 14 business days. If you are not satisfied with the way we attempt to resolve your complaint, we will direct you to the relevant government agency for further advice.
