These terms apply to any banner you have created for use on CPDpoint. Please familiarise yourself with the contents of this page.
§ You need to be able to supply your logo and/or all artwork in electronic format. Accepted formats are AI, EPS, TIF, GIF, JPG, PNG. All fonts must be outlined (applies to AI and EPS formats only).
§ If you want photos or illustrations included in your banner, you will need to supply these electronically.
§ Your banner is created by United International Network (UIN) not CPDpoint. The content at CPDpoint is controlled by CPDpoint. If your banner has the capacity to breach our terms of use, you understand that CPDpoint always retains the right to refuse, remove or request corrections to any material that you intend to list on this site, at your expense.
§ You understand that you are responsible for the representations made in the content of the banner.
If the banner created is intended to be listed on this site, then you have declared to CPDpoint and UIN that your banner content does not have the capacity to violate:
i.
Australian Trade Practices Act (administered by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
ii.
Australian
anti-discrimination laws (administered by the
Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission
)
iii.
Intellectual property of others (e.g. copyright, trade mark or obligation of confidentiality. Refer to IP Australia
for information about different types of intellectual property)
iv.
Australian Privacy Act (administered by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner)
v.
Any other law, regulation or code of conduct that applies to the material you have submitted or industry you represent
If your banner content contains an error, or you become aware that your banner has the capacity to violate any law, you are responsible for making the correction. If you discover an error in content after the banner has been created, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for any amendment required to correct the banner.
The following terms will also apply to all banners created at CPDpoint .
1. Payment for transactions at CPDpoint is processed in Australian dollars.
2. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption is employed to ensure the security of all personal information submitted on this site. SSL is the industry standard used by all reputable e-commerce sites and it is compatible with most browsers.
3. Credit card payments are processed instantly at this site. Please ensure you have sufficient funds available in your account.
4. A non-refundable payment-processing-fee of three percent applies to the sub-total of all banners created
5. If you live in Australia, the final price paid for advertising includes Goods and Services Tax (GST).
6. A receipt will be e-mailed to you immediately after payment is processed. A record of your transaction is available in your account area, which you may access at any time you log in to this site
7. CPDpoint and UIN will not be liable for any delay or failure to publish advertising, caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Examples of these factors include delayed payment by you, an act of God, war, breakdown of plant, industrial dispute, electricity failure, legal restraint or absence due to sickness.
